Scope
The Joint Telematics Group (JTG) of various IITs and IISc, Bangalore was formed about seventeen years ago with the intent of imparting technical knowledge in the field of signal processing, telecommunications, and networking to young engineers, scientists, and teachers from all over India. The JTG holds the National Conference on Communication (NCC) annually across various IITs and IISc.
We have previously had five summer schools in May 2009 , May 2010, May 2011, May 2012, and June 2013. The Sixth Summer School is sponsored by the IEEE Information Theory Society.
Important note: We will not provide any workshop participation certificate to the participants. Only the receipts corresponding to the payments made for the JTG Summer School 2014 shall be provided.
Registration
Registration will be in 2 stages. Registration will be confirmed by email in April. Confirmed participants will have to pay a registration fee of Rs. 1000 (students) or Rs. 2000 (others). The total number of participants will be limited to around 120. If there are more requests, preference will be given to students in Masters or PhD programs.
Confirmations have been sent already. Registration deadline for confirmed participants is now May 9, 2014.
