Important information regarding the 2012 IT Society election follows. The IEEE Information Theory Society Bylaws provide that six new members shall be elected annually to the Board of Governors. The names of the twelve nominees for the ballot were selected by the Nominating Committee and the Board of Governors. Biographical sketches are located on the electronic voting site with instructions for viewing. The names on the ballot are listed in randomized order, no preference is intended.
This year’s election continues to offer the opportunity to cast your ballot electronically. You will need your IEEE Account username/password to access the ballot and cast your vote. This is the same account information used to access IEEE online services such as renewing your membership, myIEEE, and Xplore. Note: If you have transitioned your username to email address, you must use your email address to sign in. It is recommended that you test your account access at
