Tenure Track Assistant Professor Position in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department at the University of California Irvine

 The Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department at the University of California, Irvine invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the level of assistant professor in the broad field of smart systems. Smart systems refer to automated processes or devices that encompass sensing, actuation, and communication, and that are able to adaptively adjust their behavior based on their current operating environment. More specifically, candidates with expertise in the fields of communications, signal processing, information theory, control theory, or networking, whose specialty can be considered to belong to this broad field are sought. Qualified applicants who will have received their Ph.D. degree by September 2014 should submit their cover letter, curriculum vitae, list of publications, up to three key publications, statements of research and teaching, and the names of three to five references via the URL https://recruit.ap.uci.edu.
