Possible research fields include the statistical estimation problems in the light of large random matrix theory, or the spectral behavior of large non Hermitian matrices. 

The position will be jointly hosted by Telecom ParisTech (former ENST) and Supelec, two leading French engineering schools located in Paris. The candidate is expected to have a PhD in probability, in statistics or in electrical engineering with a solid background in the former two fields.

The initial appointment is for one year, and may be extended depending on performance and availability of funding. A competitive remuneration will be offered.
