Simons Conference on "Networks and Stochastic Geometry"
May 18-22, 2015
The University of Texas at Austin
This workshop, supported by the Simons Foundation, will explore intersections between stochastic geometry and its applications to engineering networks through a series of mini-courses, research lectures, and interactive sessions featuring world-renowned thought leaders across several disciplines. The event will also include intimate evening social events around the central Austin area, one of the United States' most dynamic and creative cities, well-known for its rich music and food culture in addition to its leadership in technology.
This workshop is second in a series organized at UT Austin on this broad topic. The 2014 event was the Simons Conference on Stochastic Geometry and Point Processes, featuring talks and mini-courses by prominent mathematicians.
