Sanjoy Mitter, Professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, has been named the recipient of the 2015 IEEE Eric E. Sumner Award, for his contributions to the unification of communications and control.

SP Coding and Information School
The SPCodingSchool is a two week long school on coding and information theory which will be held in Brazil in January 19 to 30, 2015. Leading researchers in these areas will give both introductory and advanced courses.
