The Institute for Telecommunications Research at the University of South Australia conducts research in the areas of high-speed data communications, satellite communications and robust flexible wireless networks. Our activities range from fundamental research through to proof-of-concept demonstrations and commercialisation of wireless technologies.
To continue the expansion of our world-class research capabilities, the Institute for Telecommunications Research is looking to invite more first-class researchers to join its team. To this end, we are funding a travel bursary to outstanding national and international researchers to visit us in Adelaide, Australia. This will give you the opportunity to visit the institute, meet our other expert researchers, view our facilities and observe our world-class research firsthand. In addition, you will also have the opportunity to potentially secure your research future in Australia, through an Australian Research Council Future Fellowship Award submission.
The ARC Future Fellowships scheme aims to promote research in areas of critical national importance by giving outstanding researchers incentives to conduct their research in Australia. The scheme also seeks to attract and retain the best and brightest mid-career researchers.
