Two postdoctoral positions in wireless networks are available at Yale University in the following areas:
(1) Analysis and design for large-scale wireless networks: random graph theory, connectivity, percolation, robustness to failures, mobility, throughput, delay, and distributed network management algorithms.
(2) Optimization of wireless networks: development of new network control algorithms with the use of information-theoretic, cooperative, network coding, and other techniques. Emphasis on distributed algorithms.
The initial appointment is for one year starting immediately, with the possibility of follow-on extension, depending on performance as well as the availability of funds. Compensation will be competitive.
Interested applicants should email (a) a brief statement of research interests, (b) a CV with publications, and (c) contact information for three references, to [email protected]. Positions are advertised until filled, but interested applicants are urged to submit their applications as soon as possible.
