The Israel section of IEEE organizes the  international conference on the 
science of electrical engineering (ICSEE)  in the beautiful (and very pleasant
in winter) resort of Eilat, on the red sea.
The conference will cover different topics in EE, including sessions on 
Information Theory.

In order to give a talk at the conference, an extended abstract should
be submitted. The abstract deadline is currently July 7. Accepted talks 
have the option of publishing to Xplore, for which papers are due Sep. 30.

In addition, the conference will include a special IT symposium organized
by Anelia Somekh-Baruch,  featuring exciting  talks by (in alphabetic order):
Shraga Bross, Giuseppe Caire, Albert Guillen i Fabregas, Meir Feder, 
Gerhard Kramer, Amos Lapidoth, Neri Merhav, Haim Permuter, 
Shlomo Shamai, Emre Telatar and Tsachy Weissman.
