Annoucements

To submit an announcement, news item or job opening, please do the following:

1. Log in to your account.  
2. Select the type of item to add:
   1. News Item: Calls for papers, general news, obituaries, etc.
   2. Event: Conferences mostly 
   3. Job: Job openings
3. If you are ready to submit, select Submit for Review and save. Otherwise, select Draft

Nomination Forms

List of all forms

Update a forms email handler: Build > Settings > Email/Handlers

Awards

List All Awards:  A view of all awards or look at the taxonomy terms for paper award and person award

Create a New Award: Go to Taxonomy > Paper Award/Person Award > Add Term

Give a Person Award: Content > Add Content > Person Award

Give a Paper Award: Content > Add Content > Paper Award

Committees & Distinguished Lecturers

Create a new committee: Taxonomy > Committee > Add Term

List of all committees

Create a new committee position: Taxonomy > Committee position > Add Term

Add a person to a committee: Content > Add Content > Committee members

Change sort order by position: Taxonomy > Committee position. Click and drag order.  All committees use same order.

Distinguished Lecturers: Similar to committee.  List.  Add a committee member as "Lecturer"  

Chapters

List All Chapters: Taxonomy terms for Chapters List

Members-Only Content

In order to set a page to be inaccessible to an anonymous user, use the Rabbit Hole settings that are available for each node. Under these settings select Access denied.

Migration

Migration of users has a number of considerations

1. If itsoc.org email address matches IEEE database, then this account is migrated.

Microsites
