Second International Workshop in Sequential Methodologies
The workshop covers all aspects of sequential methodologies in mathematical statistics and information theory from theoretical developments in optimal stopping, sequential analysis, change detection to different applications in mathematical finance, quality control, clinical trials, signal and image processing, etc.
The workshop covers all aspects of sequential methodologies in mathematical statistics and information theory from theoretical developments in optimal stopping, sequential analysis, change detection to different applications in mathematical finance, quality control, clinical trials, signal and image processing, etc.
The goal of the workshop is to bring together the researchers and practitioners from all areas within sequential methodologies.
Particular themes of the workshop include, but are not restricted to:

Prospective authors are invited to submit 2-pages extended abstracts of contributed papers before January 15, 2009. All abstracts should be submitted electronically in PDF format at IWSM 2009 submission website.
Prospective organizers are invited to submit their session proposals with a short summary (goal and motivation) before January 15, 2008. Each invited paper session can be either 90 minutes or 120 minutes session with 3 or 4 presentations respectively. The goal of invited sessions is to provide a focused discussion of new theoretical trends and/or new topics in applications.
All papers selected for presentation at the IWSM 2009 will be published in the form of a CD-ROM.
