Upcoming workshop on polar codes at WCNC'2017
The Workshop on "Polar Coding in Wireless Communications: Theory
and Implementation" will take place in the framework of the annual
IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference (WCNC'2017),
to be held in San Francisco, during
March 19-22, 2017
.
The IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference (WCNC)
is recognized as the world premier wireless event that brings together
industry, academia, and regulatory bodies to exchange information on
the advancement of wireless communications and networking technology.
Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, WCNC'2017 aims to serve as
a catalyst in fostering new ideas and connections between industry
and academia.
The Workshop on "Polar Coding in Wireless Communications: Theory and Implementation" will feature keynote lectures by Erdal Arikan, Wen Tong (Head of Huawei Wireless Research), and Ruediger Urbanke. In addition, the workshop will include sessions of contributed presentations, poster sessions, and a panel discussion. The submission deadline for contributed papers is October 15, 2016 .
