The IEEE Information Theory Society is starting a new magazine that will eventually replace the Newsletter. This magazine will provide a home for tutorial-style papers, expository works that blend traditional bread-and-butter information theory areas with exciting new directions, as well as the traditional content of the Newsletter. Our hope is that this new endeavor will increase the visibility of the IT Society and improve our outreach to other communities.
To that end, we are seeking your help in naming the new magazine . Feel free to submit as many suggestions as you wish. We will accept entries until October 13 .
The winning name will gain our gratitude, and perhaps $200, subject to IEEE rules .
