Yuta Sakai (Member, IEEE) was born in Fukui, Japan, in 1992. He received the B.E. and M.E. degrees and the Ph.D. degree in advanced interdisciplinary science and technology from the Department of Information Science, University of Fukui, in 2014, 2016, and 2018, respectively. He is currently a Research Fellow with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National University of Singapore (NUS). His research interests include information theory and coding theory.
