Biography
Joao Ribeiro received the B.Sc. degree in applied mathematics and computation from Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisbon, Portugal, in 2015 and the M.Sc. degree in computer science from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH), Zurich, Switzerland, in 2017. His M.Sc. thesis on information-theoretic secret-key agreement was awarded an ETH medal. Since October 2017 he has been a Ph.D. student at the Department of Computing, Imperial College London, UK.
He is interested in information theory and its connections to coding theory, cryptography, and theoretical computer science.
