Postdoc Positions in Wireless Communications
Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Hawaii is looking for two postdocs in energy efficient wireless communications. One postdoc will work on information theory while the other will work on transceiver hardware modeling

University of Hawaii is looking for postdoctoral fellows to work with Prof. Anders Host-Madsen on information theory and Prof. Jeff Weldon on integrated circuit design, in a joint project with prof. Zixiang Xiong at Texas A&M University. The project is about fundamental limits for resource constrained wireless communications, and the interplay with integrated circuit design. The research group is working on wireless information theory, graph coding, machine learning for source coding, machine learning for anomaly detection, among other things. Candidates are expected to have PhD in electrical engineering, mathematics, or a closely related field.. The positions are available immediately and have a duration of one year. Please email your application to Prof. Host-Madsen at [email protected].

The University of Hawai‘i is an equal opportunity/affirmative action institution and encourages applications from women and minority candidates.
