Biography

Shengtian Yang received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in biomedical engineering, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China in 1999, 2002, and 2005, respectively.

From June 2005 to December 2007, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Information Science and Electronic Engineering, Zhejiang University. From December 2007 to January 2010, he was an Associate Professor at the Department of Information Science and Electronic Engineering, Zhejiang University. Currently, he is a self-employed Independent Researcher in Hangzhou, China.

His research interests include information theory, coding theory, and programming languages.
