Biography

Tetsuya Kojima was boin in Sapporo, Japan, on May 1, 1968.

He received his B.E., M.E. and Ph.D. degrees in information engineering from Hokkaido University, Sapporo, Japan, in 1992, 1994 and 1997, respectively.

From 1997 to 2001, he was with the Graduate School of Information Systems, the University of Electro-Communications, Tokyo, Japan, as research associate.

Since 2001, he has been with the Department of Computer Science, Tokyo National College of Technology, Japan,  first as a research associate, and currently as an associate professor.

From 2010 to 2011, he was a visiting researcher at the University of Melbourne, Australia.

His research interests include the wireless communication systems, stochastic signal processing and some applications of information theory. He is a member of IEICE (Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers, Japan), JNNS (Japanese Neural Network Society) and IEEE. He served as a Program Co-Chair at the workshop IWSDA'09 and IWSDA'13  in 2009 and 2013, respectively.
