Biography
Badri N. Vellambi (M’09) received the B.Tech. in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology-Madras in 2002. He received his M.S. (Electrical), M.S. (Mathematics),  and Ph.D. degrees (Electrical Engineering) from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, in 2005, 2008, and 2008, respectively.
 
Since 2008, he has been a research fellow at the Institute for Telecommunications Research (ITR) in the University of South Australia (UniSA). His current research interests include Shannon theory, channel coding, multi-user information theory and communications theory.
