Fardad Vakilipoor is a Ph.D. student in telecommunication engineering at Politecnico di Milano. He obtained the interdisciplinary Ph.D. grant as a collaboration between departments of Telecommunication and Bioengineering. His research revolves mostly around the areas of Molecular Communication and Signal Processing. He holds a M.Sc. in telecommunicaiton engineering with 110 cum laude from Politecnico di Milano, Italy, and B.Sc. in control engineering from University of Hormozgan, Iran . During his M.Sc. degree he was selected for the "Honours Programme Scientific Research in Information Technology".
